In my previous role, I tackled a significant challenge: ensuring consistent and effective training across multiple logistics facilities in three different states. Initially, I developed comprehensive facilitator guides for onsite leaders to train their teams. However, I quickly identified a critical issue: variations in delivery across locations led to inconsistent key learnings.

To correct this, I facilitated virtual “train the trainer” classes with leaders and I integrate short videos directly into the training materials. This proved to be a game-changer. By providing a standardized, high-quality visual demonstration of new processes and procedures, these videos ensured that every facility received the exact same message, every time. This not only solved the consistency problem but also enhanced the overall effectiveness of the training, making complex information more accessible and engaging for all learners. This experience solidified my belief in the immense value of short videos as a cornerstone of impactful instructional design.
